Sharp shooting pain in belly

This happened to me a few weeks ago.. I had pretty bad pains in my stomach and right around my belly button and within 5 mintues they were gone.

It just happened to me again but I couldn't move because of it.. if I even took a breath it hurt like hell. I know what contractions are and these were not them.. but this time it lasted almost 15 minutes and I got pretty nervous. I called the OB and she said since it stopped (which it did as we were talking) to lie down and stay off my feet and make sure I feel 10 kicks in the next 2 hours. So im laying.. 20 minutes gone by and no movement.

Has this happened to anyone??? Im still freaking out about it.... sitting here praying this baby moves!!!

I have actually had these pains before, when I wasn't pregnant. I think it has something to do with gas...it always passed so I never gave it much thought...
