She is not sleeping anymore
I need some help fast. Sara is 7 months old. She has been sleeping through the night since she is 7 weeks old....................... Until now:
For the few nights she has been waking up around 3:30 AM crying alot. I will hold her and give her some water but I refuse to give her a bottle again at 3AM. I am thinking it is all for attention because s soon as she sees me she stops crying. Do you think I should go in her room OR let her CIO ? I have another child and I dont want the ccrying to wake him.

If she isn't sick and just looking for attention, i personally would let her CIO. But others will probably say otherwise, it's whatever you are comfortable with.

I would do the same and I do the same. Sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night crying but I know that as soon as he finds his thumb he will go back to sleep.

Re: She is not sleeping anymore
It could be that since she's getting older she could be going through seperation anxiety or she could be reaching a milestone, which I always noticed effected Emily's sleep.
Personally I would always go in there. I oculdn't listen to my daughter CIO in the middle of the night. I would go in there, soothe her, put on the mobile, give her her dolly, whatever she has that comforts her, and then leave the room.
I have to admit that when this was happening to us we would sometimes take her out of the crib, let her sit on our laps in the living room for about 20 minutes or so, and then put her back to sleep and she'd fall esleep. She must have just wanted some close time. And I felt more comfortable holding her for 20 minutes then listening to her scream Momma Momma Momma for 20 minutes.

Re: She is not sleeping anymore
Julia went through this and it lasted a couple weeks before she started sleeping through the night again - DD is 7 months today.
I thought it was teething - and i tried to soothe her to sleep by rocking her - didn't work.
Then i thought it was a growth spurt - gave her 4-5 ounces (half as much as I usually do for a regular feeding) and right to bed she went. Could it be she is hungry? Some days I know Julia eats more than others - a few ounces wouldn't hurt?
ETA - Julia soon after discovered belly sleeping and has been sleeping through the night again on her belly - for long periods of time....
