She wont eat the oatmeal???

So DD has tried Rice cereal and is doing fine iwth that. We tried giving her oatmean and she refuses it-takes a taste and pulls away So do I move on to the next cereal and come back to oatmeal--Also we gave her a little taste of sweet potatoes and she loved it--is it possible she is developing her own tastes already...........

If you read the back of the Gerber box it says something like it takes 13 tries to determine whether or not the baby really dislikes something. My ped said the same thing. Sometimes with the cereal I found it was the consistency rather than taste. I found she liked it thicker than I was making it. She also preferred it with water rather than formula/milk. Keep playing around and have fun

DD liked the rice...but didn't like the oatmeal, so we skipped it. She also wasn't a fan of the barley. But...she did like the mixed cereal (which is all 3 mixed together)
