SHEDS

I am looking into getting a shed. Does anyone have any recommendations of which one to get?

I really like this one that is lowes and also I like the BIG Max at Home Depot. The one at lowes is huge - bigger than the one from home depot - They both come with a floor - so you dont need to put down a cement base....

Scott

The one from Lowes

Big Max

Re: SHEDS

My DH and I bought one of these type of sheds that you "snap" the walls together. We love it. Its very sturdy and easy to put together.

i will try and find the one that we bought...we got it from Lowes

Re: SHEDS

We got that same exact shed from lowes a few weeks ago. Took us a day and a half to put it up. And we LOVE it! Be sure to go to eBay to get yourself a 10% coupon before purchasing! Chat Icon

Re: SHEDS

How big is it though - Does it look awkward in your yard? My wide is not deep but it is wide.

I just dont want it to look to big - you know....Although I know it is huge inside - I saw it at the store - How much did they charge for delivery?

Scott, why don't you get spraypaint and measure out the shed in your backyard and spraypaint it out so you can see how big it would be.

I happen to love Lowe's over Home Depot.

If you spend anything over $300, they will give you 0% interest for either 6 months or a year if you apply for a Lowe's card..........

Its worth it.

We ordered this one...had it delivered and then returned it. We had an existing shed, so the guy at lowe's said that you can just put this one in the same place...so we bought the floor kit and shed...and DH found out, he needed to get someone to dig a foundation for it...the floor kit just sits on the foundation. For what it would cost to get someone to do this...we figured we would just get one of the ones where they come onsite and build it for you.

They are doing it today...in the rain Chat Icon

Thats why my DH and I just had a cement slab put down. IMO, those floors $uck. If your ground isnt level the floor will never sit properly and they dont look sturdy enough to take alot of abuse.

The floor is basically rubber tiles that snap together. I was annoyed that we had to lay a base down but glad that we did. The one on display was sitting in the parking lot so of course that one feels great under your feet. We wound up using pea gravel in a 2X4 frame.

Re: SHEDS

Looks like HD is offering 10% off on their sheds. Not sure if they are included in the free shipping.

Scott,

Do you belong to Cosco? I know they sell sheds as well.

Re: SHEDS

We just ordered an 8 X10 vinyl clapboard shed from Sheds USA through Costco. It has a 40" double door and one window. It's custom, you can choose your size, ceiling height, roof tiles, color, shutters etc.

Sorry they don't have a pic on the site.

I am not sure which one he has (the ultra or regular) but he LOVES the shelves and organizers that go in it.
This is the accessory kit
He asked everyone for these for his brithday last year!
