Shelter for Sick Animals
Is there a shelter that takes in sick animals. My sister-in-law's friend took in a cat she found and it is quite ill and she cannot afford to pay vet bills. She is desperately trying to find a shelter to take it in. Nassau/Suffolk wherever she is willing to go anywhere.

There's one in East Northport although the name escapes me at the moment. I remember because there is a lot of controversy surrounding this haven.

I think I know what you are talking about. I think it is Angel's Gate or something like that - I think they are in some fight right now about whether tthey can still operate or not.
