Shih Tzu just not right
My Shih Tzu Kasey vomitted yesterday. Yellow foamy bile and DH said it had a little ball of black "string" in it. He said he was acting ok so I didn't freak out and I waited until I got home to call the vet which was already closed.
Since he got sick, he ate 2x and pooped so I think I can elimiante any blockage but, he is constantly licking his lips and it looks like he is having tiny difficulty swallowing. His breathing is ok.
Anyone ever have any experience with this? I'm wondering if he damaged or irritated his throat while vomiting?
He had a Dr. appt tomorrow just in case.

it sounds like he ate something and he is trying to pass it. I think its a good thing you're planning on taking him to the vet because whatever he ate could harm his intestines.
I would keep an eye on him and maybe give him boiled chicken and rice and lots of water so he doesnt get dehydrated
