Shipping food/items to your hotel?

Does anyone have any experience with this? I heard that fed/ex ground does this. It would be helpful for us to do this so we don't have to run out when we get to our destination.

Just curious of the cost. ThanksChat Icon

It will depend on weight - you could check the Fedex websites for that information.

Some destinations have local grocery shopping services if you don't want to have to worry about your packages arriving or possibly getting lost at the hotel.

I have read where some people have items shipped directly from a vendor Amazon for baby supplies or Costco for water and snacks.

I did it with diapers, formula and baby food to disney. They kept it refrigerated for us up to 9 days before we arrived. It was great. I would use peapod, diapers.com or amazon to avoid the shipping fees.

Yep, you can. Some hotels will charge you a "receiving fee" for accepting the package.

where your going is there a supermarket that delivers OR a website like fresh Direct or Shop & Stop's online version (cant think of the name right now)?

When we went to Disney we used gardengrocer.com (like a fresh direct) and it worked out fabulously! It was there when I arrived and the bell hop kept my refrigerated items in the a fridge for us until we got there!
