shocking scene last night

i was (i think) in the franklin square area last night, going north on courthouse road, when i saw a black SUV stopped in the middle of the road (facing south), cars lined up behind him, and a kid in the passenger seat (he was about 12).

the driver of the car was on the side of the road SCREAMING at two people, a man and a woman in their 50s, because he saw them drinking.

yes, that's right. they were drinking and walking and he chooses to stop in the middle of the road to get out of his car and scream at them. of course they were screaming back and made a huge scene, and eventually the guy got back in his car and the couple went on their merry drunken way. and this poor kid got to see all of it.

now WHO in their right mind would do that? obviously i don't know the whole story, but if i see someone drinking and walking the only thing i am thinking is - i am glad they are not driving! if they get pulled over by the cops, so what? not my problem.

Wow!!! I wonder though if anything happened before you got there that you didn't see.

I would never get out of my car to confront someone like that, too many crazy people in this world.
