Shoe advice and a hair question
I bought a dress for a wedding I have next Friday.
It is a one shoulder, tight, purple dress...the one shoulder has a lot of material in like folds, so I am wondering what I should do with my hair. I dont think it will look right down.
any ideas on SIMPLE hairstyles I could do? I have thinish hair that does not really hold a curl very well.
also shoes with deep purple? silver? Black?
Ill try to find a similar pic somewhere.
I took a pic of the dress on the hanger to give you girls an idea. What do you think? Its ok for a wedding, right? Not too much?

Re: Shoe advice and a hair question
I would go with a black shoe b/c that dress really needs to stand alone BEAUTIFUL
For hair I would do maybe a side chignon. My hair doesn't hold a curl for more than 2 minutes and I've found this style stays for a long time.

Re: Shoe advice and a hair question
I would definitely do a silver shoe
As for your hair- if you are not opposed to putting it up I would try some of those new fangled clips I see in all the stores for easy up dos- I bought some spin pins that had rhinestones on them and tried them out and they worked pretty well

Re: Shoe advice and a hair question
I agree with the above hairstyle but I would do a silver strappy dressy sandal for sure.. not black or any other color.

Re: Shoe advice and a hair question
I have found some great tutorials on youtube. Here's one. Might not go with the dress, but even looking at youtube for inspiration is a thought. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SvXcIPNu18
Here's a side bun

Re: Shoe advice and a hair question
Thnaks everyone for the ideas and links.
I love that hairstyle BUT my hair is layered and I have trouble doing any kind of bun or side thing because pieces fall out everywear. grrrr
Also... shoes...anyone have suggestions?
Nothing super high.
I bought these just in case I dont find anything else since I am down to the wire but I am not sure I love them 60 dollars worth LOL. I was hoping to find a sale at macys or something.
