shoe help with cocktail dress
Dh has a masquerade ball for work we are attending on saturday. I bought this dress but nit sure what color shoes & if i could wear closed toe shoes? The affair is in nyc & there is no direct parking, so we have to walk.

I love that dress!
And of course you can do closed toe shoes- it's COLD out.
A simple black patent pump is what I'd do.

A masquerade ball? Are you wearing a mask? If so, I'd get a shoe that matches the mask.....maybe something sparkly, or red  With that dress you can wear just about any shoe

We don't get our masks until we get there....I'm going to see what I can find. I have just plain nine west black pumps, not patent..
