Shoe rave!
I purchased Preschoolians Shoes for my sons. They are in the early walking stage. Usually, when shoes are put on them they tend to crawl more, walk less. These Preschoolians shoes mimic barefeet but are sturdy enough to be worn outside, etc. They are terrific and the boys have been crawling, cruising and walking with them all morning. 
ETA: They also come with an average width insole, narrow insole and wide insole. It's brilliant.
