Shoe with this dress! With update!
I am going to wear this dress to a wedding in a couple of weeks and am in need of some shoe/accessory help! What would you do? Thanks!

Nice arms there! 
I love simple black dresses that can be really kicked up with some great accessories! I would do hot strappy metallic stilettos and fun clutch to compliment! and some great chandelier earrings!

Update! I Biought the pink shoes from Zappos---thanks for the rec! They are perfect! I also got a pink handbag to match!
What kind of jewlery would you wear? I have a black chunky bracelet and thin black drop earrings...does that work?
Thoughtso n hair and makeup would be helpful too!! Thanks!

I'd do slightly more flashy jewelry because the dress is so black (having a similar issue with a grey dress I'm wearing on Saturday!). I think black jewelry would just blend in....maybe silver??

I am so glad that the shoes work for you. I love zappos. I would keep the jewelry simple. Do you have great earrings? With a higher neckline I would look for great earrings and one great bracelet. I think your idea for the long thin earrings and bracelet sound like a great choice, but it might be a lot of black. Can you do them in silver?
As for hair, are you getting it done or doing it yourself?

In that case - don't buy anything and use what you have or borrow something from a friend. As for your hair - how long is it? Does it hold a curl well? Does it stay up when you put it up?

My hair is down to the middle of my back...it stays up very well and holds a curl decently...im kinda spastic with a curling iron though! lol

Do you have any hot rollers? Do you have a round hair brush? I would have damp hair and either put it in curlers or use a round brush and "curl" your hair. Use a bit of spray to give it some hold. This way your hair has some volume. Put in a cute sparkly clip and call it a day. Alternatively you could do a chinion. I can't do them well, but if you know someone who can do them, use a lot of spray and pins to hold it up.
