Shoes??
Any suggestions on shoes for a 5 year old girl?
I have: low-top converse with laces in Black low-top converse without laces in Pink Chestnut Uggs stride-rite mary jane black leather shoes regular sneakers
I want some cute shoes. Comfortable because she runs around, but stylish. Stride-Rite had cute brown leather sneaker shows when she was smaller....but I don't love them now that her feet are bigger...
The challenge is that I can't get her Gap-type shows because they fall off her feet. Need to be better fit, if that makes sense.

Re: Shoes??
My DD LOVES shoes, so we tend to buy a good pair of sneakers and shoes and then several pairs of cuter shoes to switch around with.
Her current favorite are these from payless, and they tend to match with alot of her school outfits......

Re: Shoes??
I feel bad my DD (7) only has boots and sneakers but that's because you have no idea how many cuter shoes we've bought and hardly every get worn!

Re: Shoes??
I ordered my DD a few cute pair from target - comfortable, casual shoes but not sneaks.

haha I can relate. I think as they get older, my DD has had less. She's 6 now and with school, she will once in awhile wear a pair of maryjanes but really, she mostly wears sneakers or when it gets colder, boots. She has a few pair and they will carry her through.
As far as adding more shoes to your DD's collection, I would look at her fall & winter clothes and see if any outfits don't really go with any of her current pairs and if they should be a style that goes with dresses & skirts as well as pants. I have found navy blue is sometimes a good addition if you already have black, brown and pink in other styles. Many other colors get a couple wears but not enough IMO.
A pair of black or pink boots gets a lot of use here.
What size is your DD? I have lots of outgrown shoes and boots that I am putting on ebay soon

Re: Shoes??
DD is 4 and we buy a lot of cheaper shoes for her because she loves shoes but she ruins them at the playground at school.
I think payless usually has some cute shoes for their age.

Re: Shoes??
What about a pair of metallic silver shoes?
I got chloe the Superga metallic silver sneakers.. They are like converse but are more sturdier. They go with everything she wears.. I see 5 year olds wearing them too..
