shoes for 6-12 month olds

So I want to get dd (6 mos) shoes but I know that barefoot is best right now, I just want a couple of pairs for when we go out. So my question is besides pedipeds and robeez which are too Chat Icon for me, are payless teeny toes pre walk shoes (i think they're called) and target pre-walk shoes ok for dd to wear? in other words are they just as good/bendable as the expensive robeez/pedipeds?

my dd has a pair from target and they seem just as bendable and soft, but she doesnt like them. Chat Icon i found a bunch of socks at walmart that look like they are little ballet slippers, mary janes etc. they look really cute. good luck!

I think Payless is just fine! Considering she isn't walking in them and they are just for show... why not? As long as they are soft and bendable. Athan has a pair and they did the job!

According to my DS's orthopedic surgeon as long as the shoe is soft enough to bend in half it is fine. He told me that a lot of people think they have to buy expensive leather shoes for their DC, but they are not necessarily better for their feet.
