Shoes in wide sizes.....
We've had this conversation before on LIW but I cant find the thread!
Anyone know where they sell shoes with wide sizes other than Payless and not online? (I would need to try them on)

Wide feet are so dificult to shop for.
I hate payless.
Naturlalizer & Easy Spirit have wide widths, but not a huge selection.
Macy's in Herald Square has a comfort shoes department that I have had luck with in the past, but last time I went, didn't have many wide widths.
Marty's has some wide withs--but it is very hit or miss.
The Rockport store has some wide widths too, btu they are more athletic/outdoorsy shoes.
I usually order on-line from Zappos & I have never had to returnanything. They cary hushpuppies, which come in wide widsths & tehy have a bigger selection of them , than they have in Marty's or Macy's.
I usually end up with the same brands as above though from Zappos: Naturalizer, Rockport, Hush Puppies.

hey girls... Tourist and I have def. had this conversation before!!
Since Parade went out of business  I've been checking out Nordstrom.com. They have wide with in alot of their shoes and if they don't fit, you can return them at Nordstrom! It cost a bit more, but the shoes on the site are just SO nice.

ooh, good to know! I went in Nordstrom once ( in westchester ) & asked if a pair cam e in wide & was yelled at b/c apparntly that was the Jr's shoes section ( didn't know they havd such a thing) & nothing in that section came in wide.
I'm going to check the website right now.

easy spirt and lands end shoes have wide sizes- I hate shoe shopping because I have wide feet and I am a half size 6 1/2 wide
