Shoppers Needed - Boys 'dress' clothes?
My Mom's surprise 60th in next Saturday night @ the Westbury Manor -
I don't really NEED Sean in a suit (although that would be so freakin' adorable) but I'd like him in a jacket, tie and khaki's at LEAST .......
I am not finding ANYTHING that isn't one of those all in one sets - and I will admit I am a picky PITA b*tch b/c I hate those ..........
Oh yeah, and I don't want to spend $200 !!!
He's 20 months and right now wearing 18-24 month clothes .......
Any ideas from the BTDT boy Moms?
TIA !!!

I just got Ryan and Colin a nice navy blazer at Children's place - 34.50. Easily paired with a white shirt and khakis. I actually really like the dress shirts and khakis from Kohls (Chaps brand)
How
$75 for all!

I HATE those sets. I almost always hate the pants they come with.
I will say this, forgo a jacket, and go with a tie and sweatervest.
have you tried Polo kids?

Children's Place usually puts their easter outfits out shortly after xmas, though I haven't looked yet. They do separates. Last year I got DS a button down, tie, nice khakis and a blazer for his 1 yr pictures which were taken sometime after xmas.

If you like, you're more than welcome to borrow DS's vest (2T) and tie. I figure why buy all that dressy stuff for 1 event? He wore it for an awards ceremony. We just need them back for my nieces wedding later this year. Let me know.

I always dress DS in a sweater vest with a button down and khakis. He also has one clip tie but he's only worn that once to a wedding. I usually skip the tie.

Re: Shoppers Needed - Boys 'dress' clothes?
thanks for the suggestions -
but I'm tired of the sweater vest look, and I'm ALL about the tie !!!
And thank you very much to those who offered to let Sean borrow - I appreciate it - but I'm paranoid about that stuff especially w/ a 20 month old - I'd feel SO awful if it got ruined !!

Re: Shoppers Needed - Boys 'dress' clothes?
Adding a tie to my outfit suggestion (although you'd have to go toned down on the shirt )
Doesn't work - try this
Tie
JCPenney Look

Re: Shoppers Needed - Boys 'dress' clothes?
I bought my son's suit at JCP. It was NOT one of those all in ones, I bought the pieces separate.

I don't think you can get the tie from Nordstrom (have to order online)
FYI, the Children's Place blazer is now $17.49 on sale
