Shopping at the last minute

what makes people shop at the last minute? if i did it, i would feel pressured

i usually go the last week every night at 10pm and its usually pretty empty(lived a minute from roosevelt field)

This year im doing everything tonight sinc ive been busy and macys is open 24 hours

But i always know what im getting and always get great gifts so its what ill keep on doing

Because I ALWAYS forget something. I don't have to go out tomorrow but I may hit a stand alone Macy's that is never too crowded.

I have no idea, I just don't get why they would want to stress themselves out so much..... I say this every year.

It's the fact we have so many to buy for and no idea what to get. So it keeps getting put off and then all of a sudden, its last minute. I don't think we need to go out shopping tomorrow though, so that's a good thing!

When you have SO MANY people to buy for...and then when you buy them multiple gifts, it takes time.

Every year I say I am going to be done by the last week. Every year I am out the day before Christmas Eve finishing up. Also sometimes daily life gets in the way. Things come up and time gets away from you. I also refuse to shop shop before Thanksgiving so I can make sure I am in the Christmas spirit. I dont plan on shopping at the last minute, its just something that happens.

I did all of my shopping yesterday. I leave it for the last minute...

partly for the challenge;

partly because by now I know what I am getting everyone so it's all knocked out at one time. I don't waste time wandering around the store trying to decide what to get people;

partly because I usually have a lot going on this time of year and I don't have the time or energy to go shopping at the end of most days.

I am 99% done...LOL.
Need to go out for something in the AM.

We started about a month ago, but, when you don't know what to get someone, its HARD!
For some reason my brother and SIL were hard to shop for this year.
I FINALLY shopped for them yesterday. LOL

I normally always do all of my shopping and wrapping way ahead of time but life got in the way this year and it had to wait until the last minute. It really wasn't the end of the world and worked out fine but I will be gladly going back to my old ways next year! I like being prepared and ahead of the game To my surprise - even though the Mall was pretty crazy today - it wasn't THAT bad and we were in and out in about 30 minutes

same here...but mostly bc i dont have room in my house to keep the presents and i cant stand clutter. i rather deal with 1 day of hell than days of clutter

it's hard when you have a lot of people to buy for and no idea what to get them. i am sure people (myself included) mean to buy things earlier in the year, but then other expenses come up, life events, etc... if buying presents isn't a priority, it just gets pushed to the back burner.

Time...and I personally do not like shopping on the weekends, so I need to do it after work. This year, it's harder with only one car. But it's time and the number of people. I was finished Friday night.

DH and I forgot to buy two ppl gifts so we went shopping yesterday
