shopping pet peeve

it bugs me when you are on line to check out and the 2 women in front of you both go to the same cashier and get rung up one at a time. makes me nuts, especially when there are only 2 registers open.

Hmm.. I think that action would actually work out better for you.

Say register 1 and 2 both have customers. Lady A is first, Lady B is second, and then you are behind them.

Register 1 is clears out, so Lady A and Lady B goes to Register 1.
Register 2 is now free, so you goto register 2. If lady B stayed behind, lady B would have went to register 2, and you still would have been waiting.

When they both goto the same register, you possibly could get taken care of before Lady B - which if she would have stayed in line, you would have had to wait for her to get to an open register before you were next in line.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode, I think in the bank.. "I'm Next, I'm next!!"

i kow that i'd have to wait either way, it just bugs me. not the end of the world, just annoying.
