Short cervix anyone?

I'm 34 weeks and last week during a trnsvaginal u/s they told me I had a short cervix. Since they never measured me beforehand, they don't know if I normally have a short cervix or if it got shorter during the past few weeks. Everything is fine with me and baby - in fact the cervix is closed so there's no dilation or anything.

My question is, does anybody else have a short cervix and if so, does it mean I might go early? I would love to go around 38 weeks...

My dr told me at 32 weeks that I had a short cervix, but I was also 90% effaced so I think that is why it was "short"

I have a short cervix. It is 2.7 right now and I began at 3 then during the pregnancy it fluctuates between 2.7-2.8. One of my roommates in the hospital had a cervix of 1.3. She made it to 32 weeks.
If your doctor isnt worried I would say just let them keep monitoring-if it were really short you would be on bedrest.
