Short cycle?
Hi ladies - I'm not TTC, so I hope you don't mind the intrusion, but I had a question that I thought some of you may be able to answer.
I'm having surgery to remove an ovarian cyst on May 6, and in preparation my doctor told me to stop taking my BC pills, which I stopped as of April 2. I got my period a couple days later.
I just got my period again today, which seems like a very short cycle to me.
Is this likely just some weirdness from coming off of BC, or is this what my cycle would be like? I's been so long since I've been off of BC that I can''t remember what it was like before.

It is probably from just coming off BCP. It takes a while for your body to get used to not being on it especially if you have been on if for a long time. I would ask your GYN if you are really concerned. Good Luck with your surgery.
