Short sale
Does anyone know anything about a short sale? What are the pros and cons of this?

Yes, be VERY careful. I would make sure to have an attorney on board to look over all paperwork before you sign or agree to anything. Although it's called a short sale, it can be anything but.

my brother handles short sales all the time. He's a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker (but mostly out east).
