Shortening cycle???

are there any supplements or vitamins that you can take to help shorten your cycle?? Or ovulate???

I have a long cycle and would love to shorten it....is this even possible???

are you trying to bring on your period because your dr. could prescribe provera for you

no...I just want to know if there is something to take to help shorten my cycle to less than 40 days it has been in the past.

I use the CBEFM and for the past 2 months have gotten 12 days of high before my peak. So my body is ready just slow moving. I wanted to help speed it up if possbile.

FYI: After doing some research on the internet...i found an herb called Vitex (chaste berry) that is supposed to help with regulating cycles.

I got it at GNC. We'll see how it works. It has spparently been used for hundreds of years and have had studies on it.

Just thought it might benefit someone else

Yes Vitex is highly recommended. Clomid may shorten your cycle because it makes your follicles grow faster and larger signaling ovulation a bit earlier in some. It didn't for me-I still O'd around the same day. You could also try eating all organic especially meat because some people believe the hormones used can mess with our cycles. You may want to check out the book, The Infertility Cure by Randine Lewis. There is a TON of stuff about natural ways to improve your cycle.

glad you posted this because my cycles have turned into 40+ now as well. I was at 36-38, but they seem to keep getting longer. I can't stand it.
