Re: Shortness of breath
I had that very early on...around 7-8 weeks or so. It went away a little but then came back as my belly gets bigger!

Re: Shortness of breath
normal....almost like an anxiety thing? yea. normal. Take it easy! Rest up and don't drive yourself crazy...this early on you need to rest and enjoy the aura of being newly PG!

Re: Shortness of breath
Only when I ate too much or was stressing out.
Either of those the culprits?

Re: Shortness of breath
I thought maybe it was eating or stress. But it happens when Im walking around a lot mostly. I dont think its anxiety related, but hey I could be wrong....

It happened to me when I was walking around a lot or went up and down the stairs (sometimes if I was talking too fast!) My doctor said it is from the progesterone level increase...totally normal. If it gets to the point that you cannot breathe or are really getting out of breath and dizzy then let the doctor know right away to check for other problems.

Re: Shortness of breath
I have this. I think I had it pretty early on as well. I also sometimes have trouble breathing at night when I'm trying to sleep.

Re: Shortness of breath
I have been experiencing this also...I told my OB and she referred me to a cardiologist who is doing tests, etc, to make sure things are normal. He told me that it (mine is called SVT) is common in pregnant women, but definintely mention it to your OB
