Should I...

send an e-mail to the person I interviewed with?

I had an interview for a position with the same college I work for now, just at a different campus. So I can easily email the main person (my interview was with 4 people) and thank them for having me in.

What do you think? I really want this job. Would a call be better or should I just wait it out? I know the college moves really slow... i'm just being impatient!

If yes, what should I write?

Re: Should I...

I would email each person that you interviewed with a thank you. If you've already sent thank you's out, then I would contact the main person to see about the status of the position.

Good luck! I know higher ed is sooooo slow!!

Yes, totally send a thank you email to all 4 people - they will love it especially since you really don't have to email them all .. maybe keep the email very light & casual thanking them for their time & how lovely it was hearing about the position.

Re: Should I...

I ALWAYS send a thank you card to each person i interviewed with. I think there is something much more personal in a hand written note then an email. But if that is the only way you can get a thank you to them, it would do.

My friend had no idea your suppoed to send a thank you card, and she got job offers so i dont think its a deal breaker at all.

I always struggle with 2nd interviews... do you send it again? I always do, but i forget what i wrote the 1st time and dont want to repeat myself
