Should I be doing more cardio?
If you were trying to lose weight would you do mostly cardio or a mixture of cardio and weights?
I have been alternating between a day of 60 minutes of cardio and a few weight machines and a day of 30 minutes of cardio and a weight circuit (30-40 minutes). I'm thinking maybe I should just do all cardio.
I have a wedding to attend in 3 weeks and I have a double chin that was not invited .

Hey Catherine!
Definitely stick with doing both. Gaining muscle will allow you to burn more calories during the day even when you are not exercising. I would, however, up the 30 minutes of cardio to 45 if possible. 30 minutes is like a minimum for cardio and upping it even just a little will really help with results.

for me, I would only focus on cardio until I reached the weight I wanted to be
I build muscle very quick and w/o losing the fat- I can look bulky
which is not what I want

I would do mostly cardio until you hit the weight you want. Then use weights to tone.

thanks Christina!! I was hoping you would answer . I will definitely add on more cardio time. I have been going to the gym mostly everyday for the past month and a half. When I weigh myself the scale never moves but my clothes are getting bigger so I'm hoping the extra bit of cardio everynight will help me slim down while I tone up.
