he's sitting though right?
is he rolling?
my kid was a constant roller till 9.5 months, crawled for 2 weeks then walked.
if he's sitting and rolling I would not worry.
do you have things around him that he can attempt to pull himself up on for practice? maybe start him in a standing position holding onto couch?

I wouldn't be too worried. DS skipped crawling all together in favor of butt scooting and didn't pull to stand until around 11 months or so. Ask your ped if you're concerned

YES!!!! HE ROLLS EVERYWHERE! LOL! Also, yes I hold him holding onto the couch but then he lets his legs go limp. I'm going to just keep on working with him. Eventually he will do something im sure

Some kids skip crawling all together but if he is not attempting to pull himself up I would probably speak to my ped.

Well, crawling isn't even a milestone, so don't stress yourself out about that.
My DS didn't crawl until the weekend he turned 1, he didn't walk until he was almost 16 months old. But he did both perfectly when he did. Some kids are just more "careful" than others

Re: Should i be worried? He's not doing much
Did you say he was sitting up unassisted?
I would speak to the ped & call EI. While I don't think there is anything to really worry about it, they're the experts. If there is a problem, the sooner you get it worked on, the better. Keep in mind when you talk to them, they only get their information from you so if you're presenting it as "He's not crawling but rolling everywhere" but you don't to mention his legs going limp & he's not sitting, they aren't getting a full picture.
As long as he's getting plenty of floor time and progressing, I think he's fine.

Re: Should i be worried? He's not doing much
He's probably fine and just taking a little more time to pull up, but talk to your pediatrician and see if he/she recommends EI yet. May not be necessary.
A lot of kids skip crawling, so I think that's not even considered a true milestone, but pulling up is one. Not sure it's so late at this point though.

Re: Should i be worried? He's not doing much
DS is 9 months and no signs of crawling either. He is starting to scoot around backwards on his butt though He also is not pulling up and will only stand if I hold his hands. I'm not worried, he will do it in his own time. He also didn't start sitting unsupported until 7 months and rolling at 7 months so he has been behind all along.
