Should I bring something? Send something later?

My company is located in a different state and a co-worker of mine invited me to stay at her house for the evening rather than a hotel when I'm there to visit next week. I'm going to stay for 1 night. Should I bring a gift with me or send something later? Do I not need to do that? If I should, what would I bring/send?

Thanks In Advance!

Yes, I think you need to bring something. Maybe, a bottle of wine from LI vineyards. or wine gift basket.

I do think you should make some gesture of thanks but I don't think it makes much of a difference whether you do it when you go or after you leave as long as you don't wait too long after leaving I suppose. You could always send a basket afterwards with a note thanking her for her hospitality and telling her you had a nice time or something to that effect.

I agree with this.

If it were me, I'd send a card afterwards, and maybe bring some pastries or some bakery item with me. If you knwo she drinks wine is good, but can be awkward, some people DONT drink.
