Should I buy a new potty, or leave him alone?
Roman seems less interested than ever in potty training lately. He was into it a few months ago but not so much now. He has a schedule at school and he goes no problem to the bathroom. At home he screams if I say "let's go use the potty." I'm wondering if I should buy one to sit on the floor? Right now I have the ring that sits on top of the toilet and although I have a step stool he can't really get up on his own. I heard somewhere they feel more comfortable when their feet are flat on the floor. Should I lay off him a while or try another potty he can access himself?

Re: Should I buy a new potty, or leave him alone?
We had more sucess with a stand-alone potty that sits on the floor. We brought it right into the LR so that she didn't need to leave the room her toys were in. She didn't like her play being interupted.
If you buy a new one bring him to the store and have him help pick it out. I did that and I think it really helped motivate her.
Good luck!
