Should I buy this dress?
I have been going crazy looking for a dress for DS's 1st b-day. I really want a tunic or babydoll dress to wear with leggings and tights...at the same time, I still have some of the baby weight on me so want something that hides my chunky areas. I found this dress at Nordstrom but $290...I haven't spent money on myself like that since way before I had DS. Should I buy it or keep looking? Image Attachment(s):

I got one similar to this but without sleeves at Banana Republic lately, and it was under $100. I think that is way too expensive for that dress.
I like my dress, but they are SHORT. My thighs are my problem area and it does bring attention to them, even when I am wearing dark tights or leggings. I would try on in person before ordering.

$290 for a first bday - no way! The dress is nice, but does not look like it's worth that much. I agree with Beth - you can find the same look for less money.
