Should i call the Dr. or wait a little longer...update...i called
A little background....I stopped talking BCP in Dec.(after over 10 years being on it) I didn't get AF for over 65 days. Had blood work done and came back b normal. Doctor then prescribed progesterone. AF arrived the day after taking the last pill. I am now on CD33 and no AF. I have been trying to temp but my chart is all over the place, up, down, up, down. So, should I wait a little longer or call the doctor now? TIA UPDATE: So I called and spoke to the nurse who then spoke to the doctor. She wanted me to make an appointment to do more blood work and discuss options. So i make an appointment and they can't take me until JUNE!!!! I wanted to cry but i waited until i got off the phone! I can't believe i have to wait until June! So now i am going to be the annyoing girl who calls every week to see if anyone cancelled their appointment! I'm so upset I have to wait so long In the meantime I guess i will just pray that AF comes or a BFP!

I would call now, and at least get an appointment to go in.
If AF comes, then great. If not, at least you already have the appointment set up and don't have to wait another x days to get in there.

I would say the same thing. You can always cancel the appointment but if AF doesn't show up by then at least you're ahead of the game.

I just stopped my BCP...I'm waiting to see when AF decides to show up.
I'll keep my fingers crossed she's just being a pain and shows up for you.

Honestly, I think you should find a new doctor. If you wait until June and don't get your period, it will be over 100 days without it. The fact that you are having a problem and you have to wait 3 months for an appointment is unacceptable IMO.

I agree. When I have an "issue" my doctors have always squeezed me in. Or, at least call the officerequesting that the doctor call you to discuss the conerns you have and the doctor may say he/she wants to see you sooner, telling the support staff to squeeze you in.

I agree. June is WAY too far away! I would start shopping around for someone new.

I agree with this as well. I went through 2 gyns ever since I started TTC. One had appointment issues like yorus and the other didn't take me issues seriously. GL with everything.

Another vote here for finding another doctor. That is absolutely ridiculous to make you wait 3 months for an appointment, especially since you are having a problem. I have never waited more than 2-3 weeks for an appointment with my doctor. What area are you in? Maybe the girls here can recommend another doctor.

Re: Should i call the Dr. or wait a little longer...update...i called
This is the only dr. i have had that i have actually liked. When i called in January to first discuss not getting AF she saw me right away and always returned my phone calls or had the nurses return my calls. I'm going to call on Monday and see if i can get the appointment moved closer.
