Should i go to my first mommy and me tomorrow
its at 10:30 and DS naps b/t 9 and 11. so i may have to wake him to go, if hes still sleeping by 10 (i need like 20 min to get there). Hes 7 month old and wondering if its worth it as i am trying to get DS to have a routine nap time. Then i was thinking maybe i could go out at 9 and he'll fall asleep in the carseat/stroller and i'll try to find some where to walk around/shop untill i go over there at 10:30. Any opinions on whether i should possibly screw up his nap time for this? TIA!

OH, I hear you about trying to establish/stick to a routine. But maybe get him out earlier, let him sleep in the carseat/stroller.
Good luck & have fun!!

Don't know if this helps-- If I can get my DS to nap for about a half hour and I need to go somewhere, usually I can move him to the car. He wakes up, but he goes right back to sleep in his carseat.

WHen I have somewhere to go - during his naptime - I'll usually just go early and drive around that extra time. It's a pain in the butt - but at least I know he's well rested and won't be a total crank.

I say GO GO GO.
Once you get started on "I can't leave the house because"... you will get yourself used to it.
My boys have been "go with the flow" from day one. My 18m old, had a long morning (we were out of the house) today, didnt nap til 1pm (usually naps at 10am). and is perfectly fine. (and this includes shots for his 18m well visit, fed him while we waited for the Dr.)
I think the more rigid a schedule/routine, the harder to make the slightest change.
If babies could talk, and we could ask them "play or sleep?" which would they choose ?
and this way mommy can "play" and chat with other mommies too !
GO GO GO !
