Should I keep it?
I just did some serious damage at Bloomingdales. They had 40% off markdowns. I had a bunch of gift cards and then spent $200 of my own money. In fairness, I got a ton of stuff. I got 3 dresses, a sweatshirt, a shirt, capris, 2 pairs of flowy wide leg pants, and a super cute black jumper. I love the jumper. It's sexy and can be dressed up or down. The downside is, it wasn't on sale.  it was $128. I really like it, but that's a lot for one outfit.
Should I say F it and just keep it, or be frugal and bring it back?

I say if you know you're going to wear it and it makes you feel confident & sexy, then f it and keep it... BUT, if you don't know where you'll wear it, if you don't think you'll have the opportunity, or if you are going to be thinking of the cost each time you put it on, then I'd say return it.

If you love it keep it! its hard to find things you really love and sometimes you have to spend the money for it. You only live once, enjoy it!

Divide the cost by how many times you think you'll wear it and that's justification enough! HAHA!
So if you wear it 10 times it's $12.80 per wear. You would buy a jumper for $12.80 and only wear it once, right? HAHA
PLUS I'm sure jumpers will still be "in" next season!

I would return it, but for me it would be something I'd wear only occasionally so I can't justify that cost...

F it! That's a good amount of stuff for $200 out of your pocket, so I wouldn't think twice. Figure it's about $20 an item if you divide it by what you actually spent, at least that's what I'd tell my DH if he asked lol

No, my actual bill was $395, but I had $190 in gift cards.

Keep it. If you don't wear it right away, see if its on sale in a few weeks. If it is, return it and buy it when it's on sale.

Honestly, I think it's okay to treat ourselves every once in awhile.
Are you drowning in credit card debt? Are your bills behind?
If not, I'm sure you work hard so don't feel guilty!
There's things I splurge on too that I feel guilty about sometimes, but then I remind myself that I work hard, am frugal as a whole and pay my bills (including CC in full if I use it) each month so why not?

I say keep it! I've spent more than that for a nice dress for a wedding or special occasion so why not a jumpsuit for a special occasion? Esp. since it makes you feel good about yourself...enjoy!

Personally, I think it's important to treat yourself to something you consider 'too much' once in awhile .......Life can't be JUST about paying your bills and getting zero enjoyment out of your paycheck.
Keep it, wear it and feel good about it !
