Should I Test at Dr Visit Today? UPDATE

So, I'm thinking of going to the DR today b/c this cold is not going away, and I've got a lot of mucous build up in my chest and head (coming out the wrong end...sorry that was def TMI!).

Anyway, if I go, I want to tell him that we're TTC and there is a chance I might be PG before he subscribes any meds.

Question is...do I let him give me a test?? We've never actually gotten the chance to test yet since AF just keeps coming.

I'm about 10 DPO. Slight cramping and pulling sensation has started. Not as strong as AF cramps and they usually don't come this early. Boobes are a little sore, but not too much to speak of.

Should I just get something over the counter for this cold?
So scared to test!

UPDATE: Chickened out. Never went to Dr, so I'm still messing around with this cold, and prolonging what I feel is the inevitable.

It can't hurt to ask for them to give you a test. They may just take a urine sample. I'm not sure that they'd do bloodwork if you haven't missed your AF this month.

Just my opinion because they've denied me in the past for bloodwork.

I would just mention your situation to the doctor-- I am sure they will know how to handle it.

I would test if you are feeling those symptoms and to let the DR be aware you are TTC
