Should I wait for someone else to get her 1st Christmas ornament?
I know that at least my mom will buy DD a baby's 1st Christmas ornament and we'll probably get many others. Should I not bother getting her one myself then? What if ( BIG if) she doesn't get any though?

I KNEW my mom was getting the Hallmark one for DS, but I still ordered the Lenox shoe one anyway.
We still got a couple as gifts, but I knew I wanted him to have that specific one.

I bought Kristina's.... ***shrugs shoulders*** if she doesn't get another, then at least she has the one from me.... if she gets more, then those will go up on the tree next year, and it'll make the tree all the prettier!

I bought a Lenox one for my DS just to be sure and plus I wanted something for him that I picked out...yes, he did get otheres but I like mine the best

I didnt buy one because I knew we would get others, I think DS has 4 or 5 of them from last year and he was only 5 days old!!!

I bought the one i wanted for her 1st christmas, and I wound up getting 2 more...but thank god i ordered one for my 2nd DD, cause she didn't even get 1 from anyone

my dd got from others but I also wanted to start a tradition of dh and I giving her an ornament from lenox every year with her name on, so were doing that.

My ds had one that was sent to us a couple of months ago from a friend. I bought him one though b/c I had it personalized.
