Should LIF have a Disney sub-forum ?

Spinoff from the "I am sick of all the Disney related threads on Travel/Vacations board" thread..

Would you support a Disney sub-forum? Seems like every day the non-Disney threads get lost among the 10 zillion Disney related threads posted every minute!

I think Disney sub-forum posts should have a sub-forum.



jk. I don't care either way. I can see the value in a Disney board, but at certain times of year there is very little Disney talk, and it would also drag down the viewership of the travel board to pull Disney out.

I'd rather see people who want to travel to or who have expertise in non-Disney areas post more.

There are several other posts on this board, about Jamaica, Sandals, and Costa Rica all on the first page with only a few responses. It's not about getting lost, it's about people not responding.

IMO there aren't really too many posts about any other vacation destination, so I don't see the need to create a sub-forum. If there were like 50 non-Disney threads and then 150 Disney threads drowning those out then I might agree- but it's more like 5 non-Disney and 10 Disney so the whole board is IMO too slow as a whole to start subdividing.

That said, I'd open the Disney sub-forum, since I'm planning a trip there. I know there are plenty of Disney boards but I like the perspective from families most similar to my own.
