shout out to a wonderful, supportive woman - SweetCaroline!!
i just want to publicly thank you for all the advice and support you have given me about breastfeeding. in the short time since we have spoken i have found that i really want to commit to breastfeeding, and it is working out wonderfully. thank you sooo much - i am SO glad i didn't give it up!!
(on a side note, that bra is a godsend - i found that pumping both sides at the same time actually produces more milk!)

Sometimes you really need a BTDT to help you through. I may have BFed longer if I had someone like to support me, but Sweet Caroline gave birth after I did.

I def. agree - this board def. has helped me keep at it and I'm so glad my experience has helped someone else. I only have one real (well IRL ) mommy friend that BF (actually, she's pretty much my only mommy-friend). Her support in the beginning was key to me continuing. She kept telling me to give myself short term goals and it really worked.
