Shout out to THE LORD!!!
We have been praying that DH's Company gets work; He came home, with a big smile, saying they have a house to build for a Dr., that will begin right away, since he sold his house already!!!!  Thanks, LORD!!!! Mary

He just got a really big job earlier this year, so that has been a blessing. Last year, we basically had to live off of savings to pay a lot of our bills. It sucked cuz now that's pretty much all gone.
He had jobs all year, but most of the money he made had to go to pay off bills related to his business, his employees, etc.

He just got a really big job earlier this year, so that has been a blessing. Last year, we basically had to live off of savings to pay a lot of our bills. It sucked cuz now that's pretty much all gone.
He had jobs all year, but most of the money he made had to go to pay off bills related to his business, his employees, etc.
He has his own business? My DH had his own small construction business in the 80's, when the last building downturn happened; We lost our house/business then. Not fun being a the Wife of a builder, when these recessions happen!!  Mary

Sorry, didn't think that through, before I posted. But, when we did lose the house and business, interest rates were 20+ %, and my DH could not sell a spec house, so our situation was probably a bit different. Mary

No worries.
I am paying off a bunch of stuff today completely, so even though we don't have much in savings, that makes me feel better........at least I can start putting more money towards savings now!
I also got my quarterly 401K statement in the mail yesterday and it was nice to see that I am having a nice cushion building up in there at least.

No worries.
