I know it's silly but I'm stressing over what my DD is going to wear for her pic day photos. She is in pre-k so I want something sweet

Usually for her daycare photos I will put dd in a casual dress or a sweater/cardigan with a skirt.

Our school photos aren't until April. They are in pre-k. It depends on the weather really but usually DD wears a casual dress.

a big fat bandaid on her chin...10 stitches this am!
But I had a few things depending on the weather.
casual dress or skirt and top.

I like Gymboree for picture day. I like all the matching pieces that coordinate and accessories. I like cardigans over something too because it gives some contrast in the picture. I avoid wild prints.

AJ is in 2nd so I let her choose to a degree. It was a casual dress with a mini sweater cover. Her hair down (something I never let happen for school). She picked the dress, choice of sweater colors and her headband. She was very proud of herself. So I figure her smile is genuine during her photos no matter if I like what she's wearing or not.
But pre-k and Kinder, I chose the outfits! LOL Dressy casual. No fancy shoes in kinder and 1st because they have PE every day. But I also go to pick the background and pose so I always picked seated. This year with her shoe choice, I should have done chest up but oh well. LOL

Poor kid got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and fell asleep while sitting on the side of her bed and fell and hit her chin! Can't make this stuff up
