show me your bed against the window
anyone?
i want to do this in my master bedroom but not really sure how with the headboard and everything. no headboard? i currently have my bed against a wall but i think the best place for is against the window.

I don't have a bed against a window, but if the headboard was metal, the view wouldn't even be that obstructed....
From my perspective...
when I see beds against the window, I like it when the headboard is metal, and don't when it is wood or apolstered..... since those styles block the light and darken the room.....

With mine, the window is centered and it looks just fine. Annoying to open the window, but looks better than you might think. We pretty much had no choice, since the bed had to go there b/c the other wall has the mirror/dresser. Only other option would have been dresser only under hte window,, no mirror and that would have looked worse to me.

in my room, i have two windows. one smaller window and one double window that is bigger than my queen headboard, which is solid wood. i saw this on one of the home shows and it looks good. they had a metal one though. my question is the practicality of it. banging against the window, banging against the window mouldings, and such. (whether be a wood or metal headboard.
