Show me your kitchen with WHITE appliances!
We are set to close April 30 on our new house and we’re trying to think about décor. We are planning to redo the kitchen in the next year b/c it’s really outdated, really the only thing in the house that is. The fridge and stove are old, but they just put in a brand new dishwasher which is white. The fridge is really old, and we may want to replace that sooner…my problem is that I really haven’t seen any kitchen inspiration photos I like with white appliances, but I really can’t justify replacing a virtually new dishwasher in a year! The cabinets are currently painted cream (they are old, wooden, original cabinets that were in the house…solid as a rock) and I really feel like white looks bad with that. We also want to keep a country kitchen kind of style. Can you show me pictures of your kitchen if you have white appliances?
THANKS!

We have a very small kitchen, so we went with white to help brighten it up.

Re: Show me your kitchen with WHITE appliances!
I am definitely not a fan of white either but I just purchased my home with new white appliances too.
There is no way the Hub will let me replace new appliances even if they are white or not top of the line. So this is what I will live with. Not to mention, the old owner re-did the entire kitchen but with the CHEAPEST materials they could find.
This is a pic I took before we moved in with the sellers stuff

Ours is pretty small too--yours is very nice! I like the combo of the cabinet color with the countertop...my problem is I'm not big a fan of the really light wood cabinets...DH likes them though...

Yeah see that's what I'm afraid of...Backstory we will probably be selling this house in 3-4 years, so I'm concerned what future buyers will think and I feel like everyone is looking for stainless these days!

I wasn't a fan of the light wood cabinets either. I actually wanted white. DH refused to even look at them. So we agreed on these. Again because of the size of the kitchen. We didn't want to go with anything darker.

You can always buy a cover for the DW. Home Depot or Lowes sells stainless steel covers that attach to the door of the DW so it looks like a stainless steel DW. Then you can get a SS fridge & stove & everything will match. My brother had one and it looked great.

Your DH sounds like mine! I think this is what we may end up doing...thanks for your photos!

hmm I'll have to look into this...I feel like I've only seen ones that don't look great, although I'm sure there are some that do look good! Thanks!

But just remember that stainless is a trend like any other trend- and in 3-4 years it could be out of style just like everything else. With the white- it's a classic look that will always go with everything...

Re: Show me your kitchen with WHITE appliances!
I don't think Stainless Steel is a trend, rather a preference. It is quite pricey compared to white or black appliances, so it will only add value to your kitchen/home in the long run.
