Shower - Saturday or Sunday?
Does it really matter what day your shower is on? I would prefer a Saturday, only because some of my friends said the day is very tiring and they liked having Sunday to rest.
My MIL said showers are always on Sundays.
Does it really matter? The places that my moms have looked at have the same prices for both days.

I had mine on Saturday... which I perfered since I had some family that was traveling quite a bit of distance. I didn't want people having to travel late at night on a Sunday.

Mine was on Saturday, and to be honest, most of the ones I have gone to have been on Saturday too.

Mine was on Saturday, and since it was held late in my pregnancy, that was a good thing. It gave me Sunday to recuperate, same for my sister who organized it.

Mine was on a Sunday. I was 34 weeks. I was tired afterwards, but I would have been tired no matter what.

Mine is on a Saturday same with my bridal shower.
Since I work Mon-Fri I like having the next day off to recoup.

My bridal shower was on a Saturday and my baby shower was on a Sunday. Neither day made a difference to me. Both days were GREAT!
Do what fits your schedule best.

Sat. This way if you work, you have all Sunday to relax and look through your stuff

I can't recall having ever been to a shower on a Sunday It does make sense to do have it on Sat., so you can relax & organize all the new stuff on Sun. Whatever day it is, make sure you have fun

Mine was on a Sunday because that is when the host was able to do it. I think Saturday would be better. I was 32 weeks and so tired afterwards, I would have liked Sunday to rest. DH probably would have liked having Sunday too, since he had to carry everything up the steps of our apartment.

My bridal shower was on a Sunday, but I am having my baby shower on a Saturday.
I have been to showers on both days. I think if you have alot of out-of-towners Saturdays are better cause if they have a long way to drive they can still get a good night's sleep before work on Monday.
