Shower faucet replacement recommendation

Help...We need a plumber? Handyman? Instructions ? Lol on how to replace the shower faucet in our shower/tub the handle has broken twice he kept replacing handle and now water won't even turn off so we had to cut the water to the bathroom

My husband is in construction and very handy but he doesn't know where to begin so if it's a matter of $100 to someone knowledgable it's worth it...

Can someone please recommend how to proceed or a company/person to install a new one

Bathroom fixtures for most bathrooms (assuming you don't have one of those luxury, magazine-worthy spa bathrooms) are designed to be replaced by the homeowner with basic skills.

I always go on Google and/or Youtube and just search for the project I plan on doing. Search for show faucet replacement, and watch the videos. After watching the videos, you can decide if it's something doable.

If it's a simple upgrade/swap, meaning you're not adding new features, or changing the type of fixture (two handles to one handle, adding more heads, etc), it shouldn't be that difficult.
