shower gift for someone you don't know
My DH's cousin is including us in a Jack and Jill shower she is having with a group of moms (and dads) who she is involved with in a playgroup and a book club. I am excited to get to know other moms and am looking forward to an afternoon out with the family. I do not know anyone who will be there, including the mom-to-be. I was wondering what would be a good gift to bring her. I just want to bring a little something for her.
Any ideas?

Does the mom to be have a registry? If so I would look on there to see some small items she registered for like onesies, receiving blankets. diapers, etc.

Totally agree.
If she doesn't have a registry I would give her a gift card together with a small layette.

I would get her one of those baskets with bath soap,shampoo,desitin,q-tips,cream! They are all different prices and it will never go to waste!!!
