Re: Shower in Manhattan
I went to a bridal shower at Lady Mendhl's and a baby shower at the Central Park Boathouse. Both were excellent.

Re: Shower in Manhattan
The Boathouse is wonderful- but expensive.
Try Bouterin- its so beautiful there. We almost had our wedding there, but its too small. Its right off the 59th St. Bridge and Igor- the owner and chef is amazing! My sister's friend's bridal shower was there and she said it was amazing. Its decorated with all these fresh flowers- when you step into the door you feel like you are in Europe.

Re: Shower in Manhattan
Wow, keep the suggestiosn comming ladies.
So far I love the idea of lady Mendel's. Iam a MOH and want to throw somethign small around 10 pople, bride refuses to have nythign but htis would be jsu the bridal party and extreemly close friends. Her wedding is goign to be in europe so eveyrone is spending a fortune on that and I was looking for somehting small, beautifual and verry affordable

Re: Shower in Manhattan
My baby shower (small, just under 20 people) was at Sarabeth's in midtown. It was just perfect!

We almost had our wedding there too. It is adorable and I thought the price was really reasonable.

That makes me feel good, she keeps saying she wants nothing but dep down I know she does and if it was this small she would have no reason to complain, you only get this once in your life.
