mine went out a little to far in advance. I think my sister was trying to do everyone a favor by letting them know early since its summertime and a lot of people plan stuff for the weekends. My shower is 6/30 and i think they were sent out the last week of April.

My SIL sent them out about 6 weeks early but she needed a number for the resturant, so she wanted to get an idea early.

My shower is July 14th and invites were sent in mid May. My Mom wanted to do it early because of people's summer plans.
