make my own list? my DH told me i'm not supposed to make my own list  what if he missed some of the people i really want to come?

i made my list and i did not add kids then there was a HUGE stink which got me so upset bc my neice my marriage was not invited so now i told my mom and hubby that kids can come oh well... ugh

i don't mind kids coming but i understand your frustration. some people just don't realize it's not their event.

We had this issue (as well as others) for my bridal shower. So now I will make sure I have final say as to who is invited to the baby shower!!
And yes, I am making my own list as well. And mine is not a surprise either.

mine is a surprise, but i helped dh put together a list. my sister made the list out for our side, but friends and co-workers were on the list dh and i made, along with his family.

I made my own list...
My girls wanted to invite some of their friends and I have some people that my mom wouldnt of thought to invite...
I even put down that I wanted my mom to put down on the girls friends invites that...
"their presence was PRESENT enough"
my girls are sooo excited about the baby that I felt it was their shower too..in a way...

Same here. I even ordered my own favors today! I think the only thing I'm not doing is getting the cake (& I was going to give some suggestions for cute sayings but decided to leave it alone)

I am making my own list, and DH will check it to make sure I don't leave anyone out from his side. It's your shower, you should be able to decide who is invited, IMO.
