Shower Planning Question
My mom is starting to plan my shower. Because of my prior history (PROM @ 25 weeks) I am nervous about having it too close to my due date. I just don't know how early is "too early" when it comes to baby showers. If she planned something for when I was 30 weeks is that too early? Did or will anyone else here have their shower around that time? TIA

Under the circumstances I would say that 30 weeks would be fine..My shower is around 33 weeks or so...B/C I go early..
I had my shower with my daughters (twins) at around 22 weeks b/c I was already facing bedrest and we wanted me to actually be able to attend the shower..

I had my shower last weekend...I was 30 weeks...I like time to organize, so it was the best option for me. Go with what you are comfortable with...it is YOUR shower!

I had my shower at about 28 weeks b/c May was booked w/ communions & I didn't want to wait until June (30+ weeks). It was fine & I actually preferred it like that b/c then DH had time to set things up & we organized baby's room & got to sort through everything & see what we still needed. Nothing wrong w/ having it early.

My shower is in my 31st week. That's when my mom was in the area. (I don't have family around here.) You do the shower when you can.

I think 30 weeks is fine. Just think you will have more time to get organized and and set things up.

30 weeks sounds perfect! I think though that anytime once you hit the 3rd trimester is fine!

my shower was last weekend and i was 29 wks. my family will be away the entire summer so it was the best option for us. plus i have so much time to organize everything that i got...
