Shower suggestions on the North Shore
I'm planning my sister's baby shower and need some suggestions for a place to have it.
George Washington Manor has been suggested and I really like it, but would also like some alternative places in case that doesn't work out.
I'm looking to preferabaly have it not far from where my sister lives (Manhasset) and perhaps something on the water?
Any suggestions???
TIA

I had my RD at Diane's-- also in Roslyn and it was great for a private party.

Re: Shower suggestions on the North Shore
I had my bridal shower at Whal's Warf in Bayville on the water. I loved it.
For other north shore long island places: Millerige Inn (owned by the same people as George Washington Manner)

L'Endroit in Roslyn is really nice. How about Mims in Manhasset?

Re: Shower suggestions on the North Shore
I'm biased...my bridal shower was at George Washington Manor, and I HIGHLY recommend it. We'll definitely be having more family functions there in the future.

I hosted my sister's bridal shower at the Inn at New Hyde Park and it was amazing!! The menu was fabulous and the service was great. The room looked so beautiful and I was so happy with the way everything turned out.

What about the Claremont Hotel (I think that's the name) in Roslyn. My friend had hers there and it was beautiful
Also, La Marmite (New Hyde Park), Jonathans (New Hyde Park) La Parma (Roslyn) La Pace (Glen Cove)

Re: Shower suggestions on the North Shore
Cristina's the the Roslyn Claremont Hotel is also nice.
Milleridge Inn in Jericho has a nice shower menu.
The Swan club does too, but they are almost double the others per plate.
