Do you think having the baby shower 2 months prior to your EDD is too early?

I had mine last weekend which is almost exactly 2 months prior. Relief that I felt good and looked OK still too , LOL

I am due the week of Christmas..
My mom is doing my shower late Oct, Early Nov..
its much easier for guests and myself :)

Mine was 10 week prior to my EDD!! This was bc my entire family was going to Europe all summer, but still - it was such a relief to be able to get everything done!! And I had soooo much time to make my returns/exchanges and set up baby's room!

My shower is only 4 weeks before my due date, which i am NOT happy about.
I'm due 10/10 and my shower is 9/9 i wanted to have my shower in mid-august or the end of august if i HAD to but my mom went and did her own thing

No way...I wiish mine was that early...I can't wait to get my stuff, mostly to get organized & feel ready. I think mine is at 35 weeks if DH didn't lie to me about the date!!

My family is very very very Italina and in Italy they dont give gifts until after the baby is born b/c it is bad luck to do anything before, so I dont think i am going to get my shower until the end of September and I am due October 26
