I am pretty thin, I definitely notice my stomach which is very weird for me.

I haven't told my supervisor at work, just a close friend at work and today she was rubbing my belly and said she notices my belly.

Soon I will tell, just waiting for the right moment.

Keep using the bellaband. I used mine for a few weeks before I switched to maternity. They are going to be WAY too big on you still.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I just bought a few pair of inexpensive pants one size larger to get me through an extra 6 weeks or so before I moved on to maternity.

I feel your pain. The pants are tighter and it's worse after I've eaten something. Thankfully my shirts are long so I can unbutton the top button.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I'm 11 1/2 weeks and most of my pants don't fit. I just told people at work this week and no one thinks I am showing yet but I definitely see a difference.

I have some maternity pants but they are too big still. I've been wearing pants a size or two up from what I usually am for now. I might go get a bella band.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

My advice would be to wait on the maternity clothes. You are probably just bloated right now, I was very bloated until about 12 weeks. I thought everyone could tell, when really the first person who noticed wasnt until around 16 weeks.

Also if you start buying now you could wind up having to buy multiple times throughout your pregnancy - for the change in size.
Personally what I did (I didnt use a bella band) I bought 2 pairs of pants which are 1 size larger than my regular size and those with some of my regular stuff lasted me until 16 weeks. At 16 weeks I had to wear all maternity.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I am in maternity. I tried to buy bigger sizes, but my whole body shape has changed, and they would be HUGE on my legs and butt, but not even button around my usually bloated stomach.
I bought maternity pants at Old Navy in Bay Shore- easy sizing- small, medium, large- so I feel lik ethey may fit for awhile- and they are SO COMFY!
But they also mean you can only wear maternity shirts, so you don't see the band... it gets Chat Icon

eta- I am 12w, and my regular pants stopped fitting about 3 weeks ago- I just look chubbier though.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I've been unable to fit into my pants for almost a month now - I'm almost 12wks. I use the bella band but IMO it's a little annoying. I have a couple pairs of cheapie maternity pants that are SO comfortable. They don't have a panel or anything - just a little elastic in the back. I got them at Target on clearance for $6 each. I say, if you're uncomfortable, then get some stuff! As far as tops, I just bought a lot of babydoll, empire waisted or just long tops in size medium for now (I was a small). You need longer shirts to hide the bella band.

I'll be 13 weeks next weekend and am showing a little...but I'm at that point where I just look like I gained 10 pounds...not that i'm pregnant. I have to where a band around my pants everyday because none of my pants close anymore...but i'm not big enough to buy maternity clothes yet.

I did....my DH actually asked our OB if it was too early for me to show.....I started wearing the BellaBand at week 8...I love it!
I'm now 16 wks and look exactly the same as DH's co-worker who is nearly 24 weeks!
Have fun shopping!

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I showed really early with my first baby -- at 7 weeks my pants didn't fit anymore. I am also really small and people told me that's why I showed so early.

In terms of buying maternity clothes, hold off as long as you can. I bought mine early in size "x-small and small maternity"and I grew out of them pretty quickly and had to buy more in bigger sizes.

I was showing at 10 weeks a lil bit. Now i am 14 weeks and I had a few patients at work ask me if i was pregnant... So I guess its obvious now to outside people. My old pants are def not fitting anymore..... im borring my moms pants she is about 1 size bigger than me so its great for now.pretty soon I will be in maternity for sure.

I started to notice my regular pants getting tight around 10 weeks. Although, I'm almost 15 weeks pregnant now with twins, and petite, and lots of people still can't tell!

I was the first one to notice myself getting larger.

Re: showing at 10 weeks....

I got my belly band two weeks ago at 12 weeks. what a great invention. I did notice last night that my pants were uncomfortable with it so I imagine I will get maternity pants in the next weeks. I love the band. what a smart invention. My friends think I am showing. I think I just look a bit bloated. I am happy I am not the only one who is showing already. I thought I was the only one

I am 7.5 and there is definitely a bump. I can see it and so can DH, I have been doing well with hiding it so far.
